What is going on with the public worksheets?
AFAIK they have been disabled for spam reasons.
Spam and malware reasons.
Are they going to be back up soon?
I don't know...
Most likely not with the current sagenb.org (though William makes the
call on it).
Also, yesterday I went to use the sage notebook in my calculus class
the page was down. I think if sage is to really be an opensource
alternative this needs to be up for our students to use.
I agree and I experienced this personally, but I understand they're
providing a free service, so if we (as users) want to be sure we should
host our own server. :P
If you want guarantees and public worksheets, I'd suggest hosting your
own server (or getting your institution to host one). That's the nice
thing about it being open-source, after all---you don't have to rely on
someone else's generosity to provide the server since you have the code
and you can host it.
That said, William is working on a system to provide high availability
and other features---see his post earlier today to sage-devel.
Thanks,
Jason
