It might work if you have sufficient swap, you could even put that swap
on a tmpfs system on the *host* system. You need 2.5GB of *virtual*
memory (RAM+swap) to build the Sage documentation on 64-bit systems and
probably more than 1GB of virtual memory to build Sage itself.
