indeed, that's right, you get a link to the bibliographic data (without the review), e.g. http://www.ams.org/mathscinet-getitem?mr=2894695 They call it MathSciNet Relay Station. For users without a MathSciNet license , Relay Station allows linking from MR numbers in online mathematical literature directly to electronic journals and original articles.
