I think I'll make an overview page in the next days. @John: I have a broad experience with user groups, and I can tell you that it heavily depends on the general dynamic. Socializing, peer-to-peer help, answering questions to new users, somebody gives a talk about a specific advanced feature for other experts, contacts for some who'll teach Sage somewhere else, and much more.
