Related to that, is there a way to discern which flavor is inside?
E.g. in the case of SMC, one has to know this in order open up the
IPython file in the correct mode. The way IPython devs will do this is
to add something in the "metadata" field. So, I'm not sure if they
already came up with a way to mark their IJulia&co notebooks, but it
will. In this case, "sage" should stand there, obviously ;-)
