Aha. So, basically I should just return to the layout of my old-style spkg.
I didn't say "should". I cannot judge what is he best layout, I am just pointing out the various possibilities.
That being said, if the library is developed together and by the same authors as the interfaces, it makes sense to package them together. Just make sure that the interfaces in your packages are optional, in the sense that you could for example install only the Singular interface if you don't have GAP or Sage.
