Can this software do linear algebra over the integers? More to the point, can it reduce an integer matrix (at least 16 by 16) to echelon form? If not, does anyone have a recommendation on what open source software can do this?
My matrix represents a map from \mathbb Z^n to \mathbb Z^n to (\mathbb Z / r\mathbb Z)^n. And I'd like to find the cardinality of the image of this transformation.
