Hi,

no idea why my upper post is sended twice, at least it was not my
intension.

The link works fine now. My mistake was to ignore the advice to set
the SAGE_ROOT path in the symbol link. After doing that I could open
sage again. The problem with sage-python remained, i.e. running a
python script with #!/usr/bin/env sage -python I still got the

error /usr/bin/env: sage -python: file or directory not found

Now I created a further symbolic link /usr/bin/sage-python >
$SAGE_ROOT/sage-python. After doing that I am now able to run python
scripts with #!/usr/bin/env sage-python in the first line. Of course
there must not be a space in sage-python for this solution.
I think I evaded some problem in my installation by doing this, but
however it works and its only about calling the sage and sage-python
script so it should be ok.

Cheers, Steffen
