I am a graduate with B.Tech. from IIT Gandhinagar. I am interested in
developing Sage's app for Android devices. I have applied to universities
for graduate studies and am yet to hear from them. Depending on their
replies, my contributions might or might not be as a part of GSoC 2014.

I have been developing on android since last summer, and an app I had
developed for the Ocutag (TM) App Developers' Challenge, a nationwide
competition held from June-September 2013, was chosen as a winner. I have
knowledge of programming in Java and Python and a keen interest in
mathematics. I have been using Maxima quite often in my undergraduate
studies.

Since last December I have been working on a pet project to develop a
mathematical assistant app. You can find the files at
https://github.com/AjinkyaDahale/PaintEq. Upon discovering that Sage also
is working on a similar app, I believe it would be better to merge the
projects. So far I have been working on the UI and related aspects, but I
would also like to understand the working of Sage as I get more involved.

Please let me know if you are interested in having me in your organization.
