Hi Pranav,

At this point, I would suggest that you should make some small 
contributions in sage, by solving beginner tickets 
(https://trac.sagemath.org/wiki/TicketReports). Feel free to post your 
doubts on the sage-devel group. Also if you have enough time, you can check 
some of the project ideas (https://wiki.sagemath.org/GSoC/2018) and see 
which one interests you and start working specific to that idea. Note that 
this wiki also contains project completed this year.
