Hello everyone! I am Rithesh K, a 3rd year B.Tech. student at National Institute of Technology Karnataka, India pursuing my undergrad degree in Computer Science and Engineering. Mathematics has always been my field of interest, especially *Graph Theory*.
It’s been a couple of weeks since I have been using SageMath software (I am very familiar with Python), so I was interested to be a part of the organization for GSoC program. I am especially interested in the project idea *Diameter, radius, eccentricities, and distances* given in the ideas list. I have already familiarized with the Git and the Trac systems, and have created 1 ticket(27399 <https://trac.sagemath.org/ticket/27399>) and resolved another ticket(27376 <https://trac.sagemath.org/ticket/27376>) (one others is in the stage of review (14999 <https://trac.sagemath.org/ticket/14999>)). I have also familiarized myself with the structure of the project and am in the process of understanding the various components of it. The project is more interesting the deeper I explore it, and am more thrilled than ever to work with this team on this project. As mentioned earlier, I am interested in the project idea "Diameter, radius, eccentricities, and distances". But I am finding short of materials which would give me more information about this topic. So I would like to *request you of some materials* (books, blogs, lecture videos, or any other form) that would help me to further broaden my knowledge in this topic. Thank You and looking forward to working with this team. Regards, Rithesh K 3rd-year B.Tech. Student, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, National Institute of Technology Karnataka.
