Hi Shivesh, I know RSK is described in Stanley's *Enumerative Combinatorics II*. I am pretty sure Sagan's *The Symmetric Group* also has it. Almost any standard textbook on algebraic combinatorics usually has it. However, the theoretical applications are not so useful in terms of this project. Instead, I would look for research papers that contain generalizations of RSK.
