Greetings I am Varenyam Bakshi first year student at IIT GUWAHATI, CSE department and I am looking forward to participate in GSOC 2020 for which I decided to explore the project "Diameter, radius, eccentricities, and distances".
Regarding the project, I have quite a good experience in Python, C++ and C and worked on libraries like numpy and matplotlib. I have a deep understanding of probability, 2D geometry, linear algebra and calculus and I am efficient in the study of data structures and algorithms. I am currently making myself familiar with Sage code and trying to learn cython from sources told to me in reply to previous posts on this group. I see myself as prospective student for this project .and would like to work on this project. In addition to this what can i do until the release of ideas list? Thank you.
