Dear Jaskaran,
    Thank you for your interest. How is your experience in Python? This 
project will almost entirely be Python-based. You should also take the time 
to get familiar with the developer guide 
http://doc.sagemath.org/html/en/developer/index.html (what’s the coding 
standard, how to use git and trac, etc.). Additionally, I would consider 
making at least one or two small contributions to Sage before the proposals 
are due to get familiar with our development process.
