I was trying to compute j-invariants of list of points in the
upper half plane using pari in sagemathcloud,
when I noticed that it crashes as long as the list gets long. Specifically,
the following code...

%default_mode gp
\p 500
%default_mode sage
v = []
C = ComplexField(500)
for i in range(1,1e4):
    a = C((i*I+1)/1000)
    v.append(gp.ellj(a))

...generates a 'PARI\GP interpreter crashed ...' error. Any ideas? Thanks!
