Built w/o problems from fresh clones of the develop branch, on three macOS 
systems: 10.13.6 (2017 iMac Pro, 18-core Xeon W), 10.14.6 (2017 MBP, Quad-core 
Core i7), and 10.15.2 (2019 MBP, 8-core Core i9).

10.13.6: all tests passed!

10.14.6: all tests passed!

10.15.3: all tests passed!
