What happens when you type in "make" form SAGE_ROOT? Could you gzip up install.log and post it somewhere so that I can have a look? Please don't send the log itself to the list. The prime suspect for a build failure on OSX is that you moved the install. We are aware of the --rpath bug and trying to fix it. The log should easily point to that in case it is. > > This is the problem:: > > dan-shumows-computer:/Applications/sage shumow$ ./sage > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- > | SAGE Version 2.8.5, Release Date: 2007-09-21 | > | Type notebook() for the GUI, and license() for information. | > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- The upgrade didn't finish, the release should be 2.8.12. > --------------------------------------------------------------------------- > <type 'exceptions.ImportError'> Traceback (most recent call last) > > /Applications/sage/local/bin/<string> in <module>() > > <type 'exceptions.ImportError'>: No module named sage.misc.preparser_ipython > WARNING: Failure executing code: 'import sage.misc.preparser_ipython; > sage.misc.preparser_ipython.magma_colon_equals=True' > --------------------------------------------------------------------------- > <type 'exceptions.ImportError'> Traceback (most recent call last) > > /Applications/sage/local/bin/<ipython console> in <module>() > > <type 'exceptions.ImportError'>: No module named sage.misc.misc > <ERROR: name 'sage_prompt' is not defined> > KeyboardInterrupt > <ERROR: name 'sage_prompt' is not defined> > > Any help would be greatly appreciated. > :) > Thanks, > Dan Cheers, Michael --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ To post to this group, send email to sage-support@googlegroups.com To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/sage-support URLs: http://sage.math.washington.edu/sage/ and http://sage.scipy.org/sage/ -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
