The short answer is No. I think the way to copy files back and forth between the VMWare filesystem and the Windows file system is to set up sharing on one or the other of them (for you, it would probably be easiest to set up a samba or ftp server on the VMWare player, then log into it from Windows as if it were a remote computer.
