Yeah, I did see the email to sage-edu. What exact release of Firefox
nee Iceweasel are you running? Do you have any extensions installed?
Which ones? Does this happen if you run a vanilla Firefox? It seems
unlikely that the browser is to blame, but you never know. What is the
default language setting of the system?

Can you move $HOME/.sage out of the way (do not delete it since it
contains all your worksheet) and start over fresh. Does the url issue
still pop up? If it does can you tar up .sage  and make it available
to us? [do not send it to the list, but post an url]. If we can
reproduce this we do have a test case. Obviously if you have sensitive
data in the notebook we need to figure out who has access to debug
this, but we will cross that bridge when we get to it.

Once you are done experimenting you can move the backup back to .sage
and all should be back to normal.
