Brand-new (3/20/10) 4.3.4 version of SAGE; ran make on my Scientific Linux 32-bit Scientific Linux PC. make took a long time, but succeeded.
Took the same brand-new (3/20/10) 4.3.4 version of SAGE, ran make on my Scientific Linux 64-bit 5.4 server. There, make fails.
