Trying to install 64-bit Sage 4.8.  Run make, receive...

"Installing c_lib
python: /lib64/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.14' not found 
(required by 
/spare/sage/sage-4.8-linux-64bit-fedora_release_16_verne_-x86_64-Linux/local/lib/libpython2.6.so.1.0)
ERROR: There was an error building c_lib."

When I "rpm -qa|grep glibc" I get:
glibc-2.5-81.el5_8.1.i686
glibc-2.5-81.el5_8.1.x86_64
glibc-devel-2.5-81.el5_8.1.i386
glibc-devel-2.5-81.el5_8.1.x86_64
glibc-common-2.5-81.el5_8.1.x86_64
glibc-headers-2.5-81.el5_8.1.x86_64
glibc-utils-2.5-81.el5_8.1.x86_64"

When I "yum list |grep glibc" I get:
