Currently I have downloaded both app versions of the latest version of 
sage, 5.8, and the two app versions are for 10.8 and 10.6 respectively. I 
work on a MacBook Pro OS X 10.7.5 operating system. Currently, it 
essentially stops when attempting to connect to the Sage server. I don't 
think it's a question of not waiting long enough, I've been waiting for 
over a half hour. Does anyone have a solution? Both versions I downloaded 
are the app versions, as my professor also uses Sage and has had no trouble.
