Sorry for taking so long.  I was on vacation.

I can't reproduce this.  I'm on Mavericks with Emacs 24.3.92.1, Sage 6.3.beta4, 
and sage-mode-version of 0.11.  

You can try running M-x toggle-debug-on-error RET and then C-c C-e to get a 
backtrace which might help diagnose it.

Also relevant portions of your .emacs and detailed instructions of everything 
you did when this happens would be useful. e.g. Did you run M-x sage RET 
before?  Does it always do it, or only after doing something else?
