I can't reproduce your problem on 9.5.beta0 installed from source on Debian 
testing running on core i7 + 16 GB RAM.

   - What version of Sage do you use ?
   - On which platform ?
   - How did-you install-it ?

This information is decessary to try to understand and diagnose your 
problem.
