In other copper news, Chile's Codelco announced that production would resumeat its El Teniente copper mine from Monday. The mine represents about 25% of the company's annual output of about 1.8million metric tons of copper. Speculative money continues to flow out of LME lead and nickel as trendsellers follow the market lower. Softer physical demand, a slowdown in the stainless steel sector and LMEstocks climbing higher are pressuring nickel prices, analysts said, with alleyes watching to see whether the key psychological $30,000/ton level will hold. LME lead support is seen at $2,870/metric ton, the "last wall of defense forthe bulls," said Man Financial in a daily report. In other metals, LME aluminum will continue to trade sideways, taking somedirection from copper sentiment, analysts said.
