It is very painful to see a community being torn apart by this
controversy.

out to make a quick buck, ready to destroy their communities and "sell
their own grandmothers". *
I see it happening around me as people sell their ancestral homes,
outsiders invade our communities and start bossing around. This is the Goa
of today.
I have a choice, and my choice was to come and live in the land of my
ancestors. But slowly I am beginning to question how much longer?

Our observation:
With the tower, not only the mobile phone industry in the State, but the
global mobile phone industry, through their Multi National Corporations
(MNCs) are "invading" our Abreu Vaddo and Saligao. And with the arrogance
that the Delaneys, Cyril and Venas have already displayed in defiantly
finishing the RCC foundation of the tower, against their community's pleas,
we do not have to wait for the the MNCs to "start bossing around" and
"destroying our communities."
>From foetuses waiting impatiently for a date with the midwife, to "our own
grandmothers" who refuse an appointment with the undertaker, we are already
up for auction.
Can we turn this around, before the bidding begins?
