Hi All: Been a bit caught up, so sending in a report about last Friday slipped my mind.
To put it briefly, the Saligao Film Club was launched at Lourdes Convent, without a hitch. Thanks to the support of Sr Lily, the school principal who has been ever-supporting in such ventures, Dean D'Cruz (without whose LCD projector and other hardware ... and time, nothing would have been possible), Sharon R Lobo (for her persistence in taking up this plan) and Bindu Vaz and Pamela for their time and energy in getting this going. Fifty-plus kids attended the showing of Jungle Book. Nice holiday-time activity, and a useful group activity. PLEASE PASS THE word around: the next showing planned in Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory, at Lourdes Convent, on Friday, Nov 5, 2004 at 4 pm. All are welcome. No tickets.
