Dear Friends and Relatives of the late Father Eric Condillac, S.J.
With deep sorrow, I am the bearer of the sad news. Fr. Eric passed away peacefully on Sunday Morning of March 13, 2005, at Nairobi, Kenya.
Fr. Eric is from Saligaon, Goa. He was ordained in Belgium, in the early 50's and served in Poona, Goa, Ahmedabad, and in East Africa. He has left a lasting impression on his numerous students, parishes where he served, friends and family. He was humane and a compassionate person and dedicated himself to serve Man & God.
Fr. Eric is the last child in a family of eight. He is survived by his sisters, Sr. Effie Condillac (Domitilla), Good Shepherd Convent, Bangalore and Adela Fernandes, Bombay. He is the brother of late Dr. Michael, Karachi; Kampala, late Major Vincent, Bombay, late Louis, Kampala & Belgaum, late Francis, Bombay, late Ernest, Bombay. He will be greatly missed.
His funeral will be on Tuesday, March 15th at 3:00 pm at the Jesuit Cemetry in the grounds of the Retreat House, Nairobi. The family thanks Goanet for placing this announcement.
