While we are often quick to complain, I must say that the power
situation in Arrarim has improved vastly over the past 4-5 days or so.

We are having some terribly rainy weather in Goa, but now the power
hardly fails. If it fails, it tends to come back in 2-3 minutes. In the
past 4-5 days, there was hardly one power failure that continued for
more than an hour. Last night, one phase blew, but this is largely a
tolerable situation.

Moral of the story: keep complaining whenever anything goes wrong,
complain often, and talk directly to the persons in authority.

It also goes to show that something must have been drastically wrong,
which was only improved after we all (including the consumers' forum)
began complaining loudly about the situation.

Thanks for all your support in sorting out this tangle. Let's work to
keep things this way, and ensure that maintanence on the (low-hanging)
lines is well taken care of. FN
