Hi all, Trying to make my job even easier (isn't that why we all purchased SA in the first place?) I'd like a couple of emails (or pager messages) sent out every day stating overall status of hosts. I was going to automate this using AT or task scheduler, SA doesn't have a native scheduler does it?
Everthing on this particular site should ALWAYS be Running. I'd like to know that everything was up and for how long, taking the service that had been up for the shortest time as the worst case scenario. If any hosts were Down or on Maintenance of course I'd like to identify them as well. Something along these lines: Down: 3 08:30 12/06/02 Maintenance: 2 10:30 12/06/02 Running: 25 09:00 12/06/02 I've looked through the archives and found items on parsing the stats log and was going to follow that route.
