Dirk, my mail server was having issues this morning, and may have bounced any and all
mail received from the list sent between 10pm-10am PST. Because of this, how can I
confirm my membership to the list wasn't shut off?
Thanks,
-ryan.

Sorry but this can't be done. The FTP upload will only work towards the
normal 21/20 port combination.

Subject: [SA-list] FTP upload to a nonstandard port
Good afternoon
I have been using Servers Alive for a couple of weeks. I just tried to use
the custom html page feature using templates. I had success in generating
the page (very nice feature!) but I had some problems when trying to ftp the
new pages. We use a nonstandard ftp port on our webserver. When I declare
the ftp server in salive as:
hostname:port
then salive logs the following:
Tuesday, October 01, 2002 10:57:04 AM Generic FTP Upload error: No such host
is known.
When I declare the ftp server in salive as:
hostname
then salive logs the following:
Tuesday, October 01, 2002 11:50:19 AM Generic FTP Upload error: Invalid
socket or not connected to remote.
Using Freeware version 3.2.1087 if that helps. Is it possible to declare a
nonstandard port for the ftp upload?
Thanks in advance.
Lyle
