They are still there.... I'm guessing that's a problem, and probably something I've
done???

If you look at the SOURCE of the generated HTML file do you still see the saif tags or
are they all removed?

Hi Dirk,

1st Question - basically it comes up with a full list, including the ones that are
up.... The template was originally setup to show all, but since I've got nearly 200
checks, I've added the <saif> line just after the <sa> thinking that it would show
only those that were not working....?

2nd Question - of course (doh!)

Thanks
James

1st question: what is the exact result in the HTML output?
2nd question: if they are SNMP enabled you could use SNMP

Subject: [SA-list] Templates & Printers

Hi All,

Before I start... great product Dirk.....

Two quick questions....
- Firstly, I want to setup a www page from the templates, that only shows What's not
UP. The template I've done, (copy of Rolands!!!!), has the line <saif sa_status IS
DOWN OR sa_status IS MAINTENANCE OR sa_status IS UNAVAILABLE OR sa_status IS
UNCHECKED>... but the services that are up are still shown. Any reason why?

- Secondly, I'm checking various services on a LAN, as well as other things(!) and
want to check the LAN printers. All the printers use either external HP JET Direct
Cards, or internal Jet Direct Cards. I've currently got it setup to ping, but are
there any cheks that can be carried out?

Hope someone can help!

Thanks
James
