Let me preface this by saying it may sound stupid, but I know it would be beneficial to me. Does anyone have a suggestion for a way that Servers Alive could check to see whether the backup tapes are in the servers each night by 5:00 PM and page me if they aren't? It's a bit too late to get a "backup failed" message the next morning, so I would like to be more proactive in this. I realize I may be pushing SA beyond its scope but it is a great, highly extensible product. Any suggestions welcome.
