Unfortunatly, the problem has now shifted to hanging when you click on "Entries Maintenance"

Ok.  I was able to reproduce it and hopefully have the bug fixed.  Please download 1.7.1 off the site (http://www.networksimplicity.com/saweb/).  The only script that's changed is common.pl, but you can copy over all the scripts if you want.

I am getting the same thing.  I start SA v4 all fine, as soon as SAWEB kicks in, CPU usage shoots up to 95% and SA is dead.

I have servers Alive v4.0 beta 1297 and saweb 1.7 running on the same machine.  I let Servers Alive run for a couple of cycles and nothing goes wrong.  I start saweb.  I opens, completes its drawing of the page and servers alive is locked and then so is ie..

I am running servers alive in gui mode full screen on a Windows XP SP1 Laptop

Mark,

Might want to update the .txt instructions included in the zip file....still says that frames.pl should be the default document, rather than entries.pl.

I've updated the SAWeb scripts and released v.17 to go along with Servers Alive v4.  There are significant changes in the way SA v4 handles the telnet service which makes this a break-away version.  You can't use old versions of SAWeb with SAv4, and you can't use the new version of SAWeb with old versions of SA.  There is a particular issue in the new telnet server that could potentially cause issues, so when testing v1.7 of SAWeb watch your processor utilization on the SA box.  If it goes unresponsive and you find the CPU pegged please let me know what you were doing in SAWeb at the time.

You can find the updated scripts at http://www.networksimplicity.com/saweb/.  If you want to overwrite your current installation you can just copy them over the top of the old scritps.  If not, the installation is identical to older versions.

Mark
