[SA-list] SQL COMODBC external check

Is there any doc for this check?  I'm trying to check a SQL table to see if there are any particular table entries with a certain value in one column, but I get BOF or EOF errors no matter what I do!  

Anyone who has used this I'd appreciate some help....
