My settings are exactly the same, except I use a US Robotics Sportster Vi 33.6 FAX driver, which has worked flawlessly for a couple of years. What make/model modem are you using, maybe it's work trying something different ?

Orange should be able to tell you if the settings are correct or not and if you need to subscribe to their service or not.

Dear All,

I know this one has been covered at some length previously but I've applied all the settings that have been listed and I'm still not getting messages through to my Orange mobile phone.

I have applied the following settings to the Alpha - Paging setup area of SA 4.0.1376 running on Windows 2000 Server SP3.

Devices:                56k external fax modem
Comm Settings:          8N1
Baud rate:              9600
SMSC:                   07785499993
Protocol:               TAP

I can send messages to a numeric pager but not SMS to mobile phone.  Do I have to sign up for a service with orange (my mobile provider) to get a password from them?

Any and all assistance is of course greatly appreciated.
