agrees...would like to be able to monitor those devices that aren't
servers...UPS's...generators...AC units...anything that will return an SNMP
trap

You can't.
You can only see the received SNMP traps by using the <sa_receivedtraps>
tag
within the template based HTML output.

We are in the process of upgrading from Servers Alive 3 to Servers Alive 4.

One of the things we are interested in is the new SNMP trap host
functionality. The manual is pretty scant on this and without actually
setting it up I can't figure out how this works.

Is anyone using this and can you explain how you would send alerts based on
a received trap.
