Seeing all events and get a alert for that is not something Servers Alive
should do. Servers Alive alerts when there is a problem, a new event (any
event) is not a problem, but something normal within the NT/Win2K/Win2K3
world..

Hello,

I would like to see only the new events.

That's one of the reason why we're looking at some possibilities for it.

Now some questions for you:
The purpose of the check is to generate an alert in case of an specific
event. What parameters would you like to use to filter out the event you
want to monitor?
        Example:
alert (down) when "in systemlog I get an event with ID 12345"
alert (down) when "in applicationlog I get an event with as type STOP"
alert (down) when "in the securitylog I get an event with ID 12345 and
type STOP"
alert (down) when "in the systemlog I get an event with source
'Printer'
and type STOP"
alert (down) when "in the systemlog I get an event that has within the
data the word 'DEMO'"

Those are the onces we are thinking of, if you have any more ideas...please
share them with us...this can only make the addon better...
