why not using the Servers Alive radius check for that?

The Radius Server answers the dialup call and checks the ID against the Main Server dBase.  The Main Server does not respond.

NT/Win2K?  Then SA can reboot it IF you have netbios access to it (and
enough rights).
*nix?  Then you'll need to make an SSH/telnet script using a scriptable
ssh/telnet client

Dirk.

The Main Server is NT 4.0 and the Radius is a Computone.  I do have full
rights to the
server.
If somehow SA can detect that the server is not accepting calls (web, email,
dialup) and
reboot this would be lifesaver!

Hello...
I downloaded the SA  Program last year but haven't gotten around to setup.

I would like to know if the SA Program will work with what I'd like to
achieve on my network.  If so, I will then setup a newer release of the
Demo.

My network is my connection to the internet.  At least once a month (maybe
more), the dialup server hangs (it's online but does not respond) and I'm
unable to connect to the net from remote.
Is it possible for SA to reboot the Main Server and then Reboot the Radius
Server without input from me?   If so, how would I accomplish this?

Thank you,
Dee
