ServersAlive Version 4.1.1591
COMSMTP2POP3.dll Version 1.0.0.15
Running as a service under LocalSystem context on Windows 2000 Professional SP4

Using the SMTP2POP3 COM check, I have configured the SMTP part to send on odd cycles (1,3,5,7,9...) and POP3 checks to run on even cycles (2,4,6,8...).

I have noticed that this setup runs fine for a while, then suddenly begins logging the following error: "ERR docheck : Component 'pops50.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid( 339- 600)". This error occurs every time until I stop and restart the ServersAlive service. The last three times this has happened, it has taken 1702, 607, and 728 check cycles before the error begins to occur -- that translates to roughly 153, 62, and 84 hours, respectively.

I have tried re-registering the pops50.ocx file while SA is running using "regsvr32.exe c:\winnt\system32\pops50.ocx". This did not work.

Here are the related lines from the SA log (using maximum logging):

P.S. Did anyone ever determine what was causing slow GUI response when deleting or moving checks. I have that problem too and was waiting to hear.
