The one thing I found out that I can't check is a counter on the page. Maybe the counter is not part of the page so that's why the check fails.

Try checking <http://192.168.123.254/status.htm>http://192.168.123.254/status.htm, it seems that is the actual page that displays the status information you are most likely looking for...!
