And the service has to be restart else it won't see the changes....
Why not use the system account with desktop interaction for the service?

Because we have a SA running as a service with a domain account and when
we log in, we typically use an user account to access the configuration...

we have two instances running (with different user) : one which is the
normal service and the other, only for changes. We then exit the user's
instance...

Why do you have to stop the checking to add an entry?

Subject: [SA-list] Re-reading config file on every cycle start ?

Hi all,

Just a question which could help SA a bit : is it possible to re-read the
check list on every cycle start ?

When we have to modify a the check config, we have to stop and restart SA
after modification of these checks. Thus, if we are approaching the end of

a check, the stop&restart, we will lose information.

Did I miss the point ? because this feature doesn't appear to me and I
think it could be very handy...

Cheers,
