Could you try it via another DNS server to see if that gives the same result?

Both during the actual alert generation and if I use the "Test it" button on the SMTP Primary config page, the log reads: ERR: didn't get a response from the DNS server (10.1.4.1) for this domain (vtext.com), can't send mail to ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) My primary DNS server is correctly identified as 10.1.4.1, and when I do an nslookup for a type=mx record at a command prompt, the server repsonds appropriately with the mx record for the domain. I even tried adding the Registry key Primary_DNS_to_use per the doc, but the error doesn't change. I must be missing something. Any ideas?
