What if the 2nd alert was stopped if the device was put on maintenance?

A 2nd "group" can be notified if the problem is "valid" for a longer
time,
however there is no way to undo this when a 1st group "ACKs" the alert.
How would you see the ACK?

Dirk.

Not sure if this would be an enhancement or I just don't know how to do
it.

My boss has asked me if I can have the software alert the primary and if
they do not acknowledge the page/email within a set period of time it
then notifies a second group of people. We are currently doing this
with our AS/400 paging system and they really like it. So far it is one
fo the few things I have not been able to replicate with SA.

Thanks
