Hi Dirk, I installed the program on a clean PC and tracked the changes on filesystem. After copying some .ocx and .dll files it worked again. :)

In the log I have this line: URL check () failed due to Automation error The specified module could not be found. (line 0) Can you tell me what ocx/dll is used for the HTTP-URL check? I can only suggest to redo the install, make sure to do it directly on the system and not via a TS session. I had problems accessing the server. I reinstalled ServersAlive once again and think that the installation is somehow broken. There were several errors about ole2.dll at installation and when run the first times there were errors about not registered OCX-controls. The repair mode from the installation did not help. Now I have made it work as non-service again (had to copy aschedule.ocx manually after installation). But running as service gives the errors (immediately when the service is started) I wrote in my last mail. There is no difference if I use DNS names or IP addresses. I think that there are just some OCX-controls missing on the server. It would be no problem for me to copy the files from my desktop PC and register them on the server. I just need to know the files. Do you have a list of .ocx and .dll files which are installed for Servers Alive? Then I would just install them manually. I already reinstalled ServersAlive and running as non-service works. So I cannot understand why some modules are not found. When running with local system account the window with the server list appears and also shows my test entry. It is initially shown as "down" but after the second check it is "up". I hope you can help me with this problem. Have a nice weekend.
