When it's ready :-)
First there will be a v5.1 in January and v6 should be
ready before July 2006 (I even think it will be more something like May
2006).

Subject: [SA-list] Speeding up checks (the eternal question...)
I know this is a topic that comes up with boring regularity, but I want to make sure that I'm seeing the same thing as everyone else. I'm trying to speed up our checks, and have changed the registry settings for both "PerItemCycle" and "IntervalBetweenChecks" to 10. Even so, each check (including checks on the LAN with a roundtrip close to 0) takes at least 1 second.
Is that the realistic minimum everyone else is seeing? Anything else I can do to speed things up?
Cheers,
Ian

obvious question, when do we get V6 with concurrent checks,
it is a great product just let down by the checking times in large/wan
environments
Thanks
Dave
