but the point I am making is that that html file is cleared down and the
statistics reset each time the service restarts, so if I want to get a month's
worth of statistics, then I could potentially get less than a months worth of
data. Also, specifying only a months worth of stats is hard with this approach.
How does SA store the historical information in the HTML file? How does it know
the %age availability - surely it can only know this if it knows the results of
previous checks. Is there any way of exporting the data to a text file at the
same time as the HTML file is created? Is this stored in the registry or some
file on the SA server?

Is there any way of getting this same data in to a spreadsheet? Surely this data must all be kept somewhere and then it is purged when the SA service is restarted, which can be a pain. If I can gain access to the data which populates the output fields on the webpage then I can report on it. If not, then is there an easy way (maybe a third party tool) which I can use to manipulate the data in the statistics logging files?
