I'm running release 5.1.1958 Enterprise and experience the same sort of behavior.

Seems to me this has been happening ever since I upgraded to 5.0.  I have downloaded 5.1 but not yet installed it.  I'll try 5.1 and let you know.

The only way I can see to have that is that the sort order that is in the GUI is one that can change during the check (like status or check response).

When I have the interface open during the checks, the purple line, which indicates the check currently executing, jumps all over the place.  This is 5.0.1748

no it's using the order of the interface.

I have arranged all of my entries in the GUI interface with unique HIDs.  I then sort the interface based on HID.  However, the execution of the checks does not follow the order in the interface.  I assume it is following the order of entry into the profile.txt file, but resorting the interface and saving the profile apparently does not rewrite the profile into the sorted order.

I have tried importing the profile (a test copy) into Excel and parsing it based on the delimiter #, but for some reason Excel does not break the text string at every #  it gets some of them but not all.  I tried using an editor to replace # with a comma, but the import into Excel did the same thing.

Assuming that the execution order is base on the order of entry in profile.txt, how do I sort profile.txt base on HID.
