I second this but let me try to anticipate some of the concerns. It would have to be a user created template of sorts. Allowing many checks in one single template. The template would have the specific checks (i.e. ping, service, cpu, diskspace, etc) and then saved as say Exchange server template, file server template, or web server template. This would allow a template with all checks, dependencies, alerts etc predefined. Of course it would have to be a user created template to get the alerts that are necessary etc.
Of course one could just create small host files with said checks and do a find replace. Since that is not supported woodstone and the file itself is undocumented it would be good to develop a way to save multiple checks into one template (host file). It would save a huge amount of time for me. Do you think this is possible?
