Remote agent testing Can you from the *nix system telnet to port 20012 to itself (using it's own IP, not 127.0.0.1)? If that is not working then there is something on the *nix system preventing connections.

Telnet or SSH, Full or read only, Echo back or not. Different results, some with error messages, none actually work. Telnet from cmd line works.
